Life Imitates CSI

Here is a story about the maid of honor who suffers a gunshot wound at a wedding – from a gun a mile away at the time. Fortunately, the bullet had lost most of its energy passing through a mile of air, and the roof of the hall. But it still made a nasty hole in her arm.

Still, she's better off than the lady in the CSI episode whose bullet came from only half a mile away, and hit her in a vital point, killing her.

It's appropriate the life would imitate CSI, since CSI draws its stories from the news. (Mostly.*)
