Chloramination in Sunland-Tujunga

I've just learned that the Department of Water and Power intends to test
the chloramination equipment at the reservoir that serves
Sunland-Tujunga next week.
That means the entire water system will be converted from chlorine to
chloramine for a week, and then converted back.
Hospitals and dialysis centers have been notified, but I don't know
about fish owners, aquarium supply stores, pet shops, or water-garden
places.
Bottom line, if you raise fish or amphibians, assume you need to treat
your water for choramines at all times.
Pass it along.
